| Dear Jason(friend),
The Council for a Livable World is a leading voice for peace and for policies that reduce the risk of nuclear war.
I was honored to receive CLW’s endorsement in my historic 2020 U.S. Senate race.
With CLW’s support, my victory in Georgia secured a Democratic Senate majority and I am in a position to support policies that will make the world more peaceful and secure.
Since its founding by Leo Szilard in 1962, CLW has advocated for policies to reduce and eventually eliminate nuclear weapons, protect our environment, and minimize the risk of war.
CLW’s support of candidates for the House and Senate who share those values is vital.
In fact, get this: CLW supported President-elect Joseph Biden in his first campaign for the Senate in 1972!
That support was bookended this year when the Council, for the first time in its 58-year history, endorsed a candidate for President and supported Joe Biden’s winning White House bid.
In 2020, CLW raised $1.5 million for 35 victorious candidates, including the Georgia Senate races.

Thank you as always!!
