Katie Porter here! Because this is a grassroots campaign I always believe in being honest and transparent with our supporters. And today I wish we were emailing you with better news.

→ But, the reality is that our fundraising over the last four weeks hasn’t been where we need it to be. We were forced to make some tough cuts as a result. We wanted to have TV and digital ads up at this point to reach undecided voters.

About a third of voters are still undecided about who they’ll support, so we need the resources to reach those folks ASAP.

I’m the only candidate in this race rejecting contributions from corporate PACs, federal lobbyists, and Big Oil, Big Pharma and Big Bank CEOs.
