Hey, everyone. It's the Stringer Finance Team here. We wanted to take a few minutes to roll back the curtain on what goes into making sure we have the resources to defeat Eric Adams next April. All day, every day, we're spending time working on budgets, projections, pulling reports, and talking to donors. Though it is a lot of time spent heads down in a spreadsheet, there are a few things we keep very close track of when it comes to this race: 📊 What's our campaign budget? How many staff would we need, what would our field plan look like, and how much do we need to spend on advertising to defeat Adams? 📈 How are our projections comparing to what we're actually bringing in? Where do we need to make up the fundraising gaps? 💰 How do we maximize grassroots donations (like the ones we ask for in emails like this) to take full advantage of the NYC 8-to-1 donation match? In just a few weeks, we have our next MAJOR fundraising deadline — the last one this year, in fact. After this, fundraising numbers won't be public again until January 2025, just a few months before the election. We need to show a VERY strong fundraising report in a few weeks.
