| Earlier this week, Republican Rep. Mike Lawler held a town hall in *my* county legislative district, Rockland County—and let's just say it didn't go well.
Hundreds of my constituents showed up to call Lawler out on the Republican Party's reckless and disastrous trifecta in Washington. Instead of listening to voters, he used his time to defend Donald Trump's behavior, dodge tough questions about his record, and double down on votes to cut Medicaid and support Trump's job-killing tariffs.
NY-17 is fed up with Mike Lawler's MAGA agenda. And honestly, so am I.
This district deserves real leadership — not someone who parrots Trump talking points while working against the interests of working families in the Hudson Valley. We have a real chance to flip this seat, but it's going to take all of us.
