Booooooom: Trump and his allies aren't slowing down

Jason, I'll be honest. When the DCCC added me to their Frontline list earlier this year, I knew this was going to be a tough re-election battle. Mike Johnson and the NRCC have been attacking me since my first vote in Congress.

A Trump-aligned Super PAC launched a new attack ad in NJ-09, lying about my record. It's the third dark-money campaign targeting me this cycle.

This isn't the politics I grew up with, Jason. Our differences got settled face to face, through direct conversations with one another. The opposition and I always shared a common goal of doing what's best for New Jersey families; we just disagreed on how to get there.

But we settled those disagreements professionally, not with dark money ad campaigns full of misinformation.
