| Jason, I recently attended a virtual event with an incredible group of people who share something deeply personal to me: living with or caring for someone with type 1 diabetes. These conversations always hit home. When my daughter, Elle, was diagnosed at eight years old, I had no idea how much this disease would shape our family's life. I've seen the strength it takes to face every single day with courage, and I've met so many families who inspire my family and me to keep fighting. This event was a reminder of why I'm running for Congress. I'm grateful to be part of this community — one that never gives up, that supports each other through every high and low, and that believes in the power of science to save lives. But I also know that the fight is far from over. We need leaders in Washington who understand what's at stake; leaders who will defend medical research, expand access to affordable care, and never turn their backs on families like ours. That's what this campaign is about. And with your help, I'll take that fight to Congress. Will you chip in $25 or more today to help us keep building a campaign powered by hope? |
Thank you for being part of this journey. With gratitude, Stefany Shaheen |
