| Jason — I know that millions of people who are absolutely disgusted with Donald Trump's presidency are looking to next month's election to provide some hope.
I know that whether we win or lose — and believe me, it's looking close — will set the tone for what comes next in 2026, 2028, and beyond.
I know that if we lose, Trump will just be emboldened to attack our institutions and our communities even more aggressively.
But I also know that if we win, we can start to turn the tide in a better direction. And that we will send a powerful message — to Donald Trump and to the entire country — that the American people do not accept the past nine months of cruelty and authoritarianism as our new normal.
Jason, my first and last thought every single day is how much is riding on our success in this election. But together, I know we can get this done. We can show the country who we are and what we stand for — and rally the American people behind a future that is not dictated by Donald Trump and his right-wing allies.
