1️⃣ We're entering 2026 with massive momentum.
This year, Georgia Democrats flipped two Public Service Commission seats, won a deep-red State House district in Athens, and flipped even more municipal seats. These victories prove that Georgia is ready to elect a Democratic governor. The national party knows it too. The DGA has listed Georgia as one of its top pickup opportunities for 2026.
2️⃣ Our early strategy is working — and it's why this race is competitive.
Month after month, Jason has posted standout fundraising numbers and built one of the strongest grassroots coalitions in the field. His universal child care plan and maternal health agenda made headlines and positioned him as the candidate with ideas as big as the moment.
3️⃣ Republicans are already pouring money into Georgia.
Trump pardoned Burt Jones, signaling loud and clear that the GOP is all in to hold the governor's office. National Republicans have begun spending early, and more outside money is coming. Georgia is one of the most-watched states in the country, and Republicans will not let this seat go without a fight.
4️⃣ We need our grassroots team to carry us over the line.
This is the final month of fundraising for 2025, and our reporting deadline is coming up on January 31st.
