That's why it's so dangerous and out of touch for Trump's administration to call nursing degrees "non-professional." It's clear just how disconnected Washington politics have become from the realities families and healthcare workers face here at home.
Our nurses are essential. They keep clinics open, care for patients in rural communities, and hold our healthcare system together. They deserve respect. Not political chaos.
