If I'm being honest, I never thought about getting into politics. But as a father, husband, and farmer, I know exactly what people in our community are facing. I can't stand on the sidelines any longer while our region continues to be sold out and forgotten by career politicians.
Just this year alone, Donald Trump's tariffs have only made things harder for our community – not just for the farmers like me who have to pay these tariffs, but also for the working families who now have to deal with rising costs at grocery stores too.
