I told the truth about Trump's attempts to interfere in Georgia's elections (again), and now MAGA is coming after me. Earlier this week, I posted a video calling out the Trump administration for using the FBI to raid the Fulton County Board of Elections. Because Donald Trump still cannot accept that Georgia voters rejected him in 2020, fair and square. Apparently, that struck a nerve. Roger Stone, one of Trump's closest advisors, jumped into my replies with a big "F*ck you!" and a constant stream of attacks from Trump's MAGA followers.
Here's what I know– if we're getting under MAGA's skin, we're doing something right. Trump is mobilizing his network of lackeys to come after me because they're afraid of a Georgia governor who will actually stand up to safeguard our democracy and speak out against Trump's lies. We have seen this playbook before. Fake claims about stolen votes. Lies about illegal ballots. Endless gaslighting meant to make people doubt democracy itself. We cannot let it work. When I am governor, if Trump or his allies try this in Georgia, they will have to go through me. And judging by this morning, I think Roger Stone already suspects that. Can I count on you to contribute $25 to our campaign today? Together, we can make sure the people decide our future. Not conspiracy theorists. Not bullies. Not trolls.
Thank you for standing with me, Jason
