(Instead of serving his constituents!!) And his defense? It’s all OK because he hasn’t yet been indicted for anything. I don’t know about you, but I think the bar for a sitting U.S. Senator should be a little higher than “not yet indicted.” David Perdue’s pattern of misconduct is egregious. We need new leadership -- NOW. This is our moment to turn things around. And yet, banking records from an FBI investigation into him showed that, in fact, he does. He’s had control over his own trading all along, in a way that presents such flagrant conflicts of interest, it's mind-blowing. He treats his Senate office like his own personal E-Trade account. Members of Congress have no business playing the market. That’s why I will introduce a bill to ban individual stock trading by members of Congress, so we can prevent Senators from trying to use their offices to line their own pockets like my opponent.
