Let America Vote

The New York Times reported last week that a dozen megadonors have contributed a combined $3.4 billion to federal candidates and political groups since 2009.

Since Citizens United, wealthy donors have spent billions to influence our elections. This has resulted in a system where corporate special interests and wealthy donors have had all the power in Washington and have stood in the way of fixing the problems most Americans are facing, whether it be lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs or making the economy work for regular people.

There's no question that our campaign finance system is broken, and it desperately needs fixing. One way we can do that is through passing the For The People Act (S. 1, H.R. 1) — a package of bold, commonsense reforms that will reduce the influence of money in politics and crackdown on corruption in both parties.

Can you call your Senator today at (202) 499-6085 and urge them to support the For the People Act so we can work toward fixing our rigged political system and elevating campaign finance and reform in the national conversation?

The For The People Act will end the dominance of wealthy special interests, empower small donors, and shine a light on dark money.

We must put an end to a handful of wealthy donors controlling our elections and democracy with their powerful influence. It's time to restore the power back to the people and create a democracy that works for everyone — not just those at the top.

Call your Senator at (202) 499-6085 and urge them to support the For The People Act (S.1, H.R. 1) today.

Thank you for your work, we couldn't do it without you.
