After thirteen votes for House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy still can't win. And he is too shameless to admit defeat.

Meanwhile, the 212-member Democratic Caucus has stood united.

Leader Hakeem Jeffries and House Democrats are showing why we elected them, and why we need to elect even more Democrats at every level of government.

Republicans are showing the country just how inept they are. They cannot get their act together and have ground the business of Congress to a complete halt.

For four days running, no House member has been sworn in.
