This is where the Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization Act of 2023 (TERM Act) comes into play. Championed by Rep. Hank Johnson, the TERM Act seeks to introduce a balanced approach by setting 18-year fixed terms for Supreme Court justices.
