We need to share an important update with you: July 11 is the first public campaign finance deadline of our campaign. In order to hit our goal we need to raise another $10,000 from our grassroots supporters. Please chip in now to help hit our goal.

New York City campaign finance deadlines don't always match up with the end of the month and end of quarter deadlines that you're used to, but they are just as critical. After midnight on July 11, we have to report all of our fundraising publicly, so every pundit, every critic and every voter will see our progress. We cannot fall short.

But, here's what's special about New York City elections. The city will match all contributions between $10 and $250 8 to 1. So, $20 is worth $180 in our campaign war chest, so you can make a big dent in our goal with just one donation right now.
