Jason, We live in one of the wealthiest countries, yet people still face financial ruin just to get basic healthcare. That's just plain wrong. Republican Derek Schmidt celebrated the bill that caused ACA subsidies to expire—and in 2026, he doubled down by voting against extending them, despite broad House support. Schmidt thinks his re-election is so safe that he can do whatever party leadership wants, not what people need. We deserve a representative who actually has our backs.
