President Joe Biden will sign the bill tomorrow. This is economic policy that builds America from the bottom up and from the middle out -- not from the top trickling down. The bill gets emergency cash to 90% of Americans, and none of the stimulus checks or tax credits goes to the top 1%. And crucially: The investments in vaccines, public health, and public schools will help America reopen safely and ensure every American can get the COVID vaccine free of charge. But here's the bottom line: We literally couldn't have passed this bill without our Senate victories in Georgia -- and the GOP knows that. Just this week Georgia's GOP-controlled State Senate approved flagrant voter suppression legislation to target minority and working-class voters. Jason, this is a cynical assault on voting rights. It's Jim Crow all over again.
