The member who occupies Congressman Lewis’ seat must do everything she can to keep Georgia blue in 2022

Dirt Road PAC

Jason — Congresswoman Nikema Williams here.

I didn't go into 2020 expecting to see my name on a ballot line for the U.S. House — and even less thinking I'd end the year elected to represent Georgia's 5th district.

As the first Black woman elected Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia, I was focusing on the hard work of community organizing and coalition building that would ultimately deliver our state for President Biden and two Democratic U.S. Senators.

But when my dear, late friend Congressman Lewis passed in the summer of 2020, I was selected to take his place on the ballot line, to represent the district he honorably served for over 33 years. I didn't take that responsibility lightly then, and I've worked hard every day since to honor Congressman Lewis' legacy with his fierce dedication to justice.

I'm running for reelection in Georgia's 5th congressional district and would be humbled to have your support, Jason. Will you split a $15 donation between my campaign and Dirt Road PAC?

I'm running for reelection this November because I believe our best work in Congress is yet to come. Right now, we're witnessing unfettered attacks on voting rights in Georgia and across the country. Republicans are working to undo all of our progress and set our country back decades, while Mitch McConnell shamelessly filibusters a House-passed voting rights bill written in Congressman Lewis' name. I won't back down because Congressman Lewis wouldn't either, and I won't rest until we've passed comprehensive voting rights legislation to protect every American's vote and their voice.

Jason, as long as I'm elected to serve, I will do everything in my power to protect every American's fundamental freedoms and basic liberties — no matter your bank account or zip code.

I'm proud to work side-by-side with Dirt Road PAC, who helped us win the Georgia Senate runoffs last January and have continued to build an infrastructure at the state and local level to reach every voter — especially those traditionally left behind and forgotten by our political system.

Jason, can you split a donation between my campaign and Dirt Road PAC to ensure I win reelection and we can keep organizing in Georgia? I would be so grateful to have your support.
