Rep. Jones and Rep. Pearson are two young, Black lawmakers who stood with youth activists for common sense gun safety legislation following the Nashville school shooting that killed 6 people, including 3 nine-year-old children, and Republicans expelled them for it.
Republican lawmakers chose to continue the ugly legacy of anti-Black discrimination and political repression. We won't stand for it — we need to ensure that Reps.
