How insensitive can the NRA be? They don't care about protecting Americans' lives. HORRIBLE: NRA tweets against an assault weapons ban just hours after the racially motivated mass shooting in Jacksonville, Florida This is ridiculous. The NRA sent out a tweet just hours after a racist bigot entered a Dollar General with an AR-15 and killed multiple innocent people. AR-15's and assault-style weapons are weapons of war and don't belong on our streets. Period. President Biden and top Democrats in Congress agree: We must reinstate a national assault weapons ban to protect people's lives: SIGN THE PETITION We can't keep living like this. Mass shootings are a regular occurrence, and 2023 is on track to be the worst year yet for gun violence.
