Jason,
We are writing to ask you to make a contribution to Jon Ossoff's campaign for U.S. Senate in Georgia. Here's why:
Since we started sending out a few fundraising requests, we've been asked whether or not it is both too soon after the last election, or too early to donate to Jon's race.
The answer is no; it's actually the most important time you can donate, and here's why.
Look at some of the close Senate races Democrats won in the last election: candidates like Ruben Gallego, Elissa Slotkin, and incumbents like Tammy Baldwin and Jacky Rosen — all out-raised their opponents in individual, online small-dollar donations -- and each of them had a significant early fundraising advantage.
That advantage -- possible because of donations at this point -- allows us to build a foundation for a winning campaign and most critically, build on the infrastructure coming out of the election that just happened.
The worst thing that we could do is let the structures built to help win Georgia fall apart. That may happen with the Republicans, but it can't happen with us.
That's only possible with people like you who understand why that's important, and get the stakes of Jon's re-election. And it's why we've been asking:
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:
Thank you in advance for contributing. Especially at this point in the campaign.
