Jason,
I condemn in the strongest terms President Trump's disgraceful pardons for more than 1,000 criminals, many of them violent, who overran the United States Capitol, desecrated the seat of our democracy, and assaulted law enforcement in their failed attempt to prevent the peaceful transfer of power.
President Trump's decision to grant impunity to those who engaged in political violence on his behalf sends a chilling and dangerous message to those who might do so again in the future.
You know this: President Trump is dangerous, and he has to be checked by the Congress. That means we have to win Senate races.
In 2026, President Trump and MAGA will try to capture my Senate seat.
