Jason, Republican leaders are telling their members to avoid in-person town halls and ignore the very people they're supposed to represent–and Republican Nick Begich is following orders! At his first virtual town hall since taking office, Nick Begich only answered pre-screened questions and cut off an Alaskan who challenged him on his silence about the Trump Administration's reckless actions that threaten our communities. The Trump Administration has frozen over $750 million in resource development projects here in Alaska, which has delayed crucial economic opportunities for our state. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress just passed a budget resolution that threatens Medicaid funding, shifting costs onto our state and threatening Alaskan's access to health care. If Nick Begich and House Republicans won't stand up to Trump's extreme MAGA agenda, then we will vote him out and take back the House in 2026–but we can't do it without you!
