Just the cost of a few boxes of pens

Hi, it's the team from Florida Decides Healthcare – the ballot initiative that's going to expand Medicaid for millions of Floridians in 2026.

We're emailing you today with a simple request: can you spare $15 for a few boxes of pens?

This may seem a little unusual if you've never volunteered on a grassroots campaign before. But rest assured, pens are a hot commodity around here.

Without them, it's impossible for us to meet our goal of collecting 100,000 signatures in April! Every single one of those signatures is vital to us qualifying to appear on the ballot.

If we don't meet our signature goals, our efforts to expand Medicaid could be squashed.

As dramatic as it may sound, pens could make or break our cause.

Please, will you chip in $15 – or anything that you can – so we can stock our grassroots team with plenty of pens to collect signatures from Floridians who are ready to have better Medicaid? This would be a huge help, especially if we're going to meet our massive April signature collection goal!
