| So, why am I running again?
Because working class Wisconsinites deserve a voice in Congress -- someone who knows what it's like to work for a living. And we've proven we can make real inroads when we show up, listen, and focus on issues that matter: good jobs, affordable health care, and lowering costs for working families.
In an election year that saw many voters frustrated with the national Democratic Party, we still outperformed the US Senator Tammy Baldwin by 5,000 votes in this district. We even out-paced Kamala Harris by 9,000 votes. |
| Jason, we won more votes than any Democrat in WI-03 in nearly a decade.
It's clear we're on to something, but winning back rural, working-class voters takes time. And the tough truth is that Democrats lost these voters' trust over years of neglect. It won't be rebuilt overnight, but we know progress is possible if we show up and keep fighting.
I'm running because our work has to continue.
We're on month three of complete far right control in Washington, and folks are learning in real time that taking a buzz saw to the government won't lower the price of eggs, or the cost of gas in your car.
These are the voters we need to win over, we won't take any voter for granted or write anyone off who is starting from a different viewpoint. That's how we've done things for generations in Wisconsin, and that's why we'll finish the job and unseat Derrick Van Orden this time around.
