As a candidate for New York City Mayor, it should come as no surprise that I love this city (along with its 8.2 million people)! But let's face it — New York is getting harder to love. Crime is up, affordable housing is scarce, and our streets are dirty. New Yorkers can't afford to live and raise their families here, and they're fleeing to places that are cheaper, cleaner, and safer. The city we all love is being run into the ground by corrupt politicians who are out for themselves, not New Yorkers. I'm running for mayor to make New York a place to stay, not leave. A city where families can grow, streets are safe, kids get a great education, and opportunity is endless. As someone who has dedicated my career to reforming New York City, I've seen the ins and outs of what works for our city and what doesn't. And I've been sharing my plans with New Yorkers on the subway, at farmers markets, in coffee shops, and more. Winning this race won't be easy. Primary Election Day is next month, and there's a lot of competition. But my campaign is the only one actually willing to restore competence, vision, and experience to New York City.
