Last week, Emerge alum U.S. Rep. LaMonica McIver (NJ-10) was doing her job as a member of Congress to lawfully conduct oversight at an ICE detention facility in her home state.
ICE refused to let the Congresswoman into the facility and repeatedly shoved her to prevent her from entering.
As if that wasn't bad enough, Trump's DOJ just issued charges against the Congresswoman. This bullying tactic is politically motivated, and Rep. McIver will not back down.
