Hi Jason, The summer after my freshman year of college, my dad had a big idea: I should get friends together to provide lunch and dinner service at my aunt's breakfast diner in York, Maine. My Aunt Mary would start her day baking and cooking at 3:00 AM every day to prepare for the morning rush, and then shut things down before lunch. In a seasonal town where every day matters, my dad thought: Can we keep it open? I knew the stakes were high—I couldn't do it alone. I asked around and pulled together some friends who had experience working in beloved restaurants like Tamarack in Meredith. Together, we were off and running! We worked 100 straight days from noon until close at midnight. It was demanding and one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. That's the same spirit I'm bringing to this campaign: Put your head down. Show up every day. Do the work.
