Anti-democratic politicians want to silence our grassroots movement

Jason, it's Florida Decides Healthcare, the team working to expand Medicaid coverage in Florida. We don't have much time so we'll jump straight to the point.

And last week we had our first hearing. The Court ruled to suspend the most dangerous parts of HB 1205, but some remain in effect.

While it's not the exact outcome we wanted, it's a massive step in ensuring Floridians can participate in democracy.

Now that the Court has recognized how extreme some of the provisions of HB 1205 are, we're incredibly optimistic that our future battles will go our way.

This is far from over – there are more legal battles to come that will be extremely expensive.

We're fighting to give a voice to Floridians and stop anti-democratic politicians from suppressing democracy. We have to ask – will you please chip in $10 or more right now so we can give Floridians their power back and expand Medicaid?
