This June, I'm excited to celebrate Pride Month in the Hudson Valley! I'm proud of my advocacy for our vibrant LGBTQ+ communities here in NY-17, and I remain deeply committed to fighting for equality, dignity, and justice for all. |
| Pride is a time to honor the progress we've made and the people who have fought–and continue to fight–for equal protection and the right to live freely, regardless of gender, background, or sexuality.
It's also a time to recommit to the work that remains: protecting LGBTQ+ rights, combating discrimination, and ensuring every person can live without fear. This is especially important now as we see Republicans and the Trump administration actively working to cut funding and endanger programs for LGBTQ+ individuals throughout the country.
In Congress, I'll continue pushing for legislation that supports LGBTQ+ individuals and families and stand up to any efforts to roll back hard-won protections.
