| I've always believed in our city – from my time as Nevada's State Treasurer to Lieutenant Governor, I've helped Reno navigate through its ups and downs.
As Nevada's State Treasurer, I fought to clean up wasteful spending and, during the 2008 financial crisis, recovered tens of millions of dollars for hardworking Nevadans.
As Lieutenant Governor, I created the position of an advocate for small businesses within government and worked to support Reno's restaurants while connecting them with people who needed food delivered at home as the pandemic devastated our community's economy.
As Mayor of Reno, I'll focus on building an economy that supports both our small businesses and new opportunities, ensuring our workforce has access to good-paying jobs. I'll tackle the housing crisis, improve our parks and roads, and create a path for every Reno resident to thrive.
