Jason, we just closed the books on another month of fundraising! I want to say thank you to every member of this grassroots team who stepped up and helped us in our final push to reach our goal. While I wish I could just end it there, I'm asking for your support again. Here's why: Our primary election is three weeks away. It feels like we just launched our campaign for NYC mayor yesterday, but we're coming up on the first major milestone of this race. And there's still a lot to get done. We've got to reach all 8 million New Yorkers in every borough across the city to continue spreading my platform and letting them know why they should support me. I already launched a brand new TV ad to reach New Yorkers everywhere, and we've got another one in the works. In addition to our outreach efforts, we have a match deadline coming up on June 9th — exactly ONE week away! What does that mean? Starting June 10th, all donations made by NYC residents will no longer be matched 8X by the city. The match program goes a long way for a grassroots based campaign like ours, so we've got to make the most of it while we can. With these important deadlines coming up, we need to have a big fundraising push now so that we're prepared to win in three weeks.
