 | Jason, I was a leader at Planned Parenthood Southeast for years — that's why I can tell you firsthand that Medicaid is a vital resource for essential healthcare, especially in the South. This recent Supreme Court decision is deeply personal and profoundly dangerous. In a 6–3 ruling, the Court has now cleared the way for states to exclude Planned Parenthood from their Medicaid programs. This means that low-income patients can now be denied access to their preferred health care provider — and they have no legal right to fight back. We cannot let this stand. Add your name to my petition to let me know you agree: Planned Parenthood provides vital services to our communities. The ruling rejected a challenge to South Carolina's 2018 expulsion of Planned Parenthood from its Medicaid program. This decision sets a precedent that could threaten Planned Parenthood's ability to provide cancer screenings, STI testing, birth control, and yes, abortion care, right here in Georgia and across the country. The Supreme Court just told millions of patients that their right to choose their own provider is conditional, that states can cut off access based on ideology, not medical expertise. As your Congresswoman, I will not stand by while extremist politicians chip away at our freedoms and our health care. I've been on the frontlines of this fight before — I'm ready to fight again. Stand with me. Sign this petition to stand strong with Planned Parenthood in protecting abortion care in Georgia. We're not backing down.
