| Jason, A United States senator was roughed up and handcuffed for asking questions at a public event… Marines have been deployed to intimidate peaceful protestors… ICE is instructing its agents to arrest people — even citizens — with or without lawful warrants. Every day, we're witnessing open, intentional efforts to break both our democracy as well as our will to fight back. It's pretty normal to take one look at the news and want to shut down. And that's what they're trying to accomplish — they want to overwhelm, scare, and wear out the opposition until we just give up. Don't. Instead, do one thing this weekend to register your opposition. While they're parading tanks in front of a wannabe dictator and turning D.C. into America's version of Red Square tomorrow, millions of Americans will be taking to the streets at over 1,000 "No Kings" protests across the country. Find an event near you and be counted. If you can't make it, show solidarity by posting about an event or something thoughtful about why you oppose this administration's policies or its flagrant violations of the Constitution. And you can always chip in what you can to help build our small but mighty grassroots operation — we're on a mission to undermine and undo Trumpism in America.
