I'll never forget the moment we passed the most expansive voting rights legislation Michigan has seen in a generation.
As Chair of the Senate Elections Committee, I led the fight to implement Proposal 2 into law. My legislation expands in-person voting for at least 9 days before Election Day.
We won that fight. And now, early voting is underway in local races across our state. Together, we made history. |
| But here's the reality: Republicans are working overtime to roll back these hard-won rights. They're spreading conspiracy theories, trying to discredit our elections, and pushing legislation to suppress the vote.
