Here is the truth, Jason, directly and transparently:
We have received fewer individual donations so far in August than we had planned for to keep pace with our budget goals.
This isn't too unexpected as the summer months are notoriously tough for fundraising — folks are spending more time outside enjoying the weather with family and friends (as they should!) and less time online. We call it the "summer slump."
But we need to get back on track to hit our goals in August, and have the best chance to re-elect Jon Ossoff and take back the Senate. What we are able to raise now will be absolutely critical for our effort.
If everyone reading this donated $10, we'd get there by the end of the day. But unfortunately, not everyone gives. That's why Jon is hoping people like you who understand the stakes of this election can step up today to help us close the gap.
