This fight is bigger than Texas. This is all part of Trump's larger plan to win the midterms in 2026 because he knows public opinion is building against him and his allies. It's about defending democracy, fair elections, and the people's right to choose their leaders, not the other way around.

When Stefany Shaheen lost the Mayor position that a former mayor convinced her she would get, she famously threw a temper tantrum in public. Now that her mother is retiring, she expects to get this national position, despite her very limited political career as a city councilor in a city of 21,000 and a seat on the police commission.
