Hey, it's Mitch, Campaign Manager for Florida Decides Healthcare.
This grassroots team has had a tough couple of months. Our volunteers are fighting the brutal Florida summer to collect signatures, we're up against anti-democratic politicians, and we've been fighting an expensive court battle.
But this team continues to show out and show up.
In June, we collected a record-breaking amount of signatures to get our initiative on the ballot.
And in July, we hit every single fundraising goal we set.
This is really great news — especially since we're still in the midst of a nasty legal case that could tie us up with even more red tape. It proves what we already know to be true: people support greater healthcare access.
I just wanted to extend a massive thank you to everyone who supports our campaign. We are going to close the coverage gap in Florida, come hell or high water.
