We're ONE MONTH away from October local elections!

Jason, Local elections are the core of our communities, impacting our lives daily, whether it's decisions about our schools, public safety, or housing – and we're just ONE MONTH away from October election day. We have local elections happening all across the state this October and November, but today, I want to focus on Fairbanks! I had the opportunity to attend the Interior Democrats' Municipal Candidate Kickoff in Fairbanks to hear from a great group of hardworking, passionate Alaskans who are stepping up for their community.  There are some amazing candidates on the ballot who are running to make the Interior an even better place to live, work, and raise a family: ➡️ Mindy O'Neall for Fairbanks City Mayor ➡️ Crystall Tidwell for Fairbanks City Council ➡️ Naomi Hewitt for School Board ➡️ Sam Spencer for School Board ➡️ Garret Armstrong for FNSB Assembly ➡️ Patrick Roach for FNSB Assembly In 2024, we came together and elected Democrat Grier Hopkins as Fairbanks Northstar Borough Mayor – now, let's take that same energy and elect these folks to office! I'm so proud to share that the state party has already been making a difference in these elections by talking to voters and supporting the Interior Democrats.
