Today, we recognize the hardworking individuals who keep our country moving forward. It is also a time to celebrate the great achievements and protections won by the labor movement. Unions secured the workplace protections that working Americans enjoy every day.
In Congress, I'm working every day to protect working families because everyone deserves a good-paying job, fairness at work, and the benefits and freedoms that come with strong labor protections. As a proud member of the Congressional Labor Caucus, I will always partner with my friends in labor to fight for high-paying jobs, safe workplaces, and an economy that works for all: one that addresses income inequality, economic immobility, and the racial wealth gap.
Today, we celebrate the great achievements and protections won by the labor movement. Workers make our economy and communities strong, and I'm proud to be a voice in Congress for workers and working families.
