Republicans called me a “crazy climate scientist.”
I may not be a career politician, but you and I know all too well that these attacks aren't going to stop anytime soon.
Jason,
Soon after announcing my candidacy in NJ-07, I caught the attention of the National Republican Congressional Committee. Take a look at what they had to say about me:
"Just when you thought the NJ-07 Democratic primary field couldn't get any more out of touch, crazy climate scientist and partisan hack Megan O'Rourke joined the fun."
Let's be clear: my work wasn't partisan. It was about what was good for the future of our country and our families. My work focused on supporting farmers and ensuring a safe and affordable food supply.
The NRCC is clearly scared of me. This seat is one of the most competitive in the entire country, and they know I'm a threat to their dangerous agenda. I may not be a career politician, but you and I know all too well that these attacks aren't going to stop anytime soon.
