Majority in the House + Majority the Senate + Control of the White House = REPUBLICAN SHUTDOWN

❌ Blocking negotiations
❌ Going on vacation

It's really very simple, Jason: For Democrats, you and your loved ones come first. For Republicans, blind loyalty to Trump and their billionaire backers rule their every move.

Democrats stand ready and willing to get back to work — but we won't sacrifice the safety, dignity, or wellbeing of the American people.

This shutdown is the direct result of reckless Republican brinksmanship — and it's going to have REAL consequences for REAL people. But they just don't care.
