Here's why we're asking:
Right now, Trump's MAGA allies are spending massive sums of money to defeat Jon because they know if they win this race in Georgia, they can lock in Senate control for the GOP and at the same time get rid of one of the strongest anti-corruption voices in the Senate.
We can't let that happen, Jason.
But we're being outspent in a big way. The GOP and their Super PACs have already poured more than $10 million into this race, and Jon needs our help to fight back.
We are running a grassroots campaign which means the vast majority of the donations we receive come from people giving $10 or whatever they can, when they can. And one of the largest sources of those donations is from emails like this one.
So we're humbly asking: Can you chip in $10 to Jon Ossoff's reelection campaign today?
$10 because Jon is MAGA's #1 target in the midterms, and they are going to pull out every lie and dirty trick in the book to stop him.
$10 because if we lose this seat to MAGA, there is virtually no chance of Democrats taking back the Senate and using congressional power to hold Trump accountable.
$10 because we all have a part to play in fighting back against the rising tide of authoritarianism in our country.
Jason, we know that $10 may not feel like the kind of money that can win an election — especially when the GOP and their Super PACs are already spending millions.
But these early $10 donations are the most important of the campaign, and they add up FAST when we're all chipping in.
