Because we know the history of midterm elections. Like Joe Biden, Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama both entered office with Democratic majorities in the House and Senate -- majorities that were DECIMATED during the midterms. President Clinton lost majorities in BOTH chambers in 1994. In 2010, President Obama lost his House majority and SEVEN Senate Seats (leading the Republicans to take back the Senate a few years later). We can't let that happen in 2022, Jason. We can't allow the energy that carried Jon and Rev. Warnock to victory in Georgia to fade. We can't allow the movement that swept Democrats to a Senate majority to dwindle.
