Jason, see if your question was answered πŸ’¬

Donors like you submitted hundreds of amazing questions!  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
You asked, we answered! Thank you all for submitting your questions last week, we loved reading them! We wish we could answer them all in one email, but here are some highlights: Q: Is my donation through ActBlue tax deductible? A: Donations to registered charitable organizations on ActBlue are tax-deductible. Political donations are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Here's how to find out if your donation is charitable! Q: How much of my donation goes to the candidate or organization? A: We want as many campaigns and organizations on the left to be able to use our grassroots fundraising tools as possible, which is why there is no cost for groups to use our tools (we're a nonprofit!). We pass along a 3.95% processing fee on contributions to the groups using our platform, and that's it. Q: Why are candidates emailing me? A: Email provides a direct connection between campaigns and organizations that are building grassroots movements and supporters like you. You're integral to their work! When you give through ActBlue, your email address goes only to the recipient of your donation. We never sell your personal information. Q: Does ActBlue send emails on behalf of any campaign or organization? A: We do not send emails on behalf of any other groups. If you'd like to stop receiving emails from a specific group, use the unsubscribe link at the end of the email. Q: Where are donations most needed? A: Every donation makes a difference! Check out the ActBlue directory to find candidates and organizations in your area, or who work on issues you're passionate about. Find more answers. And as a bonus, here's a question we couldn't puzzle out on our own: Is it pronounced toMAYto or toMAHto?
toMAYto toMAHto
We're grateful to have such engaged grassroots supporters, and we hope to answer more of your questions in the future! Follow us on Twitter for more #ActBlueFAQs!
