SHAMELESS: GOP blocks bipartisan investigation of insurrection, partner of fallen Capitol Police Officer 'disgusted' Jason, the GOP is trying to cover up January 6th and pretend it never happened. It's utterly shameless.
But there is another way to investigate the January 6th Insurrection: Attorney General Merrick Garland could appoint a 'Special Counsel' (like Robert Mueller) to investigate the January 6 Insurrection. Even though Republicans refuse to act decently, Merrick Garland can still pursue justice for the Capitol Police officers wounded and killed, consequences for those who perpetrated and incited violence, and answers to the questions we still have.
But appointing a Special Counsel will be controversial. That makes it even more important for you to represent New Jersey in this survey.
Jason, can you respond to our survey by midnight tonight? Should Attorney General Merrick Garland appoint a 'Special Counsel' to investigate January 6th? Thank you for your prompt response.
