The RNC’s first attack ad was 100% fake

Jason —   Almost immediately after President Biden announced his campaign for re-election on Tuesday, the RNC went live with its first attack ad.    Here's the thing: The video was created entirely using artificial intelligence, imagining a bleak, violent future of a second Biden term.    Every single second of it looks real, but is 100% fake.   And get ready, because this is just the beginning. The party that invented the term "fake news" is going all in on using computer-generated video to try to smear Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They have to resort to lies and realistic-looking fakeouts, because the truth isn't all that friendly to the MAGA extremists running their party. Look no farther than Biden's own video, which featured very real, very horrifying documentary footage from the January 6th attack on the Capitol. It's a stark reminder that Republicans actually took our democracy to the brink before, and they're prepared to do it again.   I have faith that reality is on our side. But it's going to take one hell of a grassroots operation to make sure voters can separate truth from fiction.    That's where groups like ours come in.
