Jason, Marc Molinaro and I don't see eye-to-eye on a lot, but last week he finally said something we can all agree on: "Having served every day of my adult life in New York state politics, I can smell corruption." And boy, does he stink. For his entire adult life, Molinaro has never received a paycheck that wasn't paid for by taxpayers. And if that wasn't enough, Molinaro doled out $89 million in government contracts to companies that turned around and gave over $300,000 to his campaigns. That's textbook pay-to-play politics. So it's no wonder Molinaro complained that legislation to ban these corrupt pay-to-play schemes would be "unfair" to career politicians like himself. And it's not any wonder that Molinaro opposes efforts to get dark money out of our politics for good. Enough is enough with the pay-to-play politicians who care more about enriching their donors and advancing their careers than helping working families, small businesses, and seniors. I don't accept any corporate PAC money because I'm sick and tired of self-serving politicians selling out Upstate New York. I'm fighting for you, not the special interests. My team and I are committed to running a completely grassroots campaign to flip this district from red to blue, but we can't do it without your support. Can I count on you to chip in $5 or whatever you can today? |
With gratitude & high hopes, Josh |
