Jason, As a lifelong New Yorker, I've always recognized the vibrant tapestry of our city, woven with the rich threads of diverse Asian American heritage. That's why I'm excited to honor May as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. When I become mayor, I pledge unwavering support for all New Yorkers, including our Asian American communities, who have contributed immensely to the fabric of our city. Whether they have called New York home for generations or arrived here recently, they deserve equal respect and opportunity. In the face of rising anti-Asian hate crimes, Islamophobia and antisemitism, we must stand united against prejudice. We must reject any form of hate and bigotry, and as mayor, I will tirelessly advocate for the safety and dignity of every resident. Every New Yorker needs to feel that City Hall has their back. We will create a climate of zero tolerance for any kind of hate. If you agree that it's never been more important for New York to stand against racism and prejudice, I hope you will join my campaign. Thank you for being a part of the team, Scott |
